Guidance to hockey community after the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The below guidance has been put together to support clubs, players and other hockey
activity during this period of mourning.

  • It is recommended that you continue with training, pre-season friendlies or other hockey activities as you see fit during this period of mourning
  • If you decide to continue with activities, we recommend the use of black armbands or black ribbons and a two minute silence before the activity commences as a mark of respect
  • It is recommended that all non-essential activity to pause on social media channels and websites during the period of mourning

England Hockey will be closed for the bank holiday on Monday 19 September.
This guidance is in place until Tuesday 20 September 2022
