Arrival
We will have car park attendants trying to ensure there is no backlog of cars on the main road so please follow their guidance, it's unlikely you'll be able to get parked directly next to the pitch you are playing on, there will be Canterbury HC activity on the pitches until 10:15 so we ask that you do not arrive before 10:30 to allow the car park to empty. Please be considerate when parking your car, space is at a premium. We would encourage car share where possible.
ONLY the Coach, Umpire and Manager from each team are allowed inside the playing area on the side of the pitch. U12 players and coaches who are not scheduled to be playing must remain outside of the pitch and dugouts. Please keep off grass areas where possible and ensure footwear is clean or cleaned before entering the pitch.
All spectators/parents are to remain outside the pitch area, as per England Hockey Health & Safety Rules. It goes without saying that we expect all players, coaches, umpires and parents/spectators to treat each other with respect.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day in the clubhouse (cash only) and from a coffee kiosk (cash or card) located near the top pitch
